Dr. Muriel Meso

Muriel Meso BM, BSc, MRCPCH, MD
Consultant Paediatrician and Endocrinologist

Muriel Meso is a Consultant Paediatrician working in Diabetes and Endocrinology at the Royal Free NHS Trust. She is also the Paediatric Liaison Lead for the eating disorders team
and joint paediatric research lead within the same trust.

Muriel obtained her primary degree from the University of Southampton after which she had the opportunity to work in several teaching hospitals within London including University College London Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster, the Royal London Hospital and Kings College Hospital.

She completed her Paediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training at the Royal London Hospital. She took 3 years out of her training programme to spend time in research. During this period, she was able to attain a doctorate in Paediatric Endocrinology with the University of London.

Her areas of interest are growth and puberty, thyroid disorders, and diabetes in addition to general Paediatrics.
